The Sindh Chief Minister House was illuminated with the national flags of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey on the instructions of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to mark the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.

A spokesperson for the chief minister said the CM House was decorated with the three countries’ flags and colourful lights as an expression of solidarity.

Murad Ali Shah welcomed the defence cooperation between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, describing the agreement signed in Makkah as an important milestone for regional peace and security.

He said the agreement represented a new era of peace, security and mutual cooperation in the region and reflected a commitment to mutual trust and collective security.

The chief minister said Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey were brotherly countries and stronger cooperation among them was the need of the hour.

He said Pakistan’s longstanding relations with Saudi Arabia were a source of pride, while its historic and brotherly ties with Turkey were also a common strength.

Murad Ali Shah said unity among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey could open a new chapter of peace, stability and cooperation in the region.

He added that the three countries could play an effective role in promoting regional peace and stability, calling the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement a strong example of cooperation among brotherly Muslim countries.
