Karachi (Reporter) – Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed anger over the recently announced budget and has told the leadership within the country that under no circumstances should they support the approval of the current budget. Bilawal Bhutto has shown displeasure over the neglect of Karachi and Sindh’s projects in the budget.

According to PPP sources, the party chairman is expected to return to the country on June 16 or 17 and will hold important consultations with party leaders. There is also a possibility that a Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting will be called, where Bilawal will brief the party on his diplomatic achievements abroad and discuss the issue of Sindh being ignored in the budget, as well as future relations with the PML-N.

Bilawal has directed party leaders to raise the issue of Sindh’s neglect in the budget. On another front, the party chairman is also upset over how PML-N has been treating PPP’s women leaders in television talk shows. Party leaders have been instructed to contact the Prime Minister and inform him about Bilawal Bhutto’s displeasure.

MQM is also reportedly unhappy about the situation in Karachi and is expected to discuss the matter with the Prime Minister. A senior PPP leader, when contacted, said that “when PML-N is in power, it acts arrogantly, and when it is weak, it becomes submissive.”

At a time when Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is engaged in diplomatic efforts for the country against Indian war hysteria, his own province has been completely ignored in the budget. The allocation for the K-IV water project and the motorway has been described as negligible—”like fodder in a camel’s mouth.”

Bilawal has instructed his spokespersons to take a tough stance with the PML-N. If the PML-N does not change its course, then the next steps of action will be considered. Due to this, an important PPP meeting is expected to be held in Islamabad next week to formulate a strong response.
