Former U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that multiple Middle Eastern countries have offered to carry out direct military operations against Hamas in Gaza under his leadership. The statement, made on Trump’s social media platform Truth Social, has generated widespread debate and concern among international observers, given the fragile state of the ongoing peace efforts in the region.

In his post, Trump wrote that “some of our great allies in the Middle East enthusiastically informed me that, at my direction, they would be ready to move into Gaza with powerful military force to bring Hamas under control.” He did not, however, specify which countries had made these offers, nor did he clarify whether the discussions were formal proposals or expressions of political support.

The former president’s statement comes amid delicate efforts to maintain stability in Gaza following the recently negotiated ceasefire, which aims to pave the way for reconstruction and humanitarian relief after months of devastating conflict. Trump’s remarks suggest that certain regional governments are willing to take a far more aggressive stance against Hamas than has been publicly acknowledged.

While Trump’s post did not name any specific nations, analysts speculate that he may have been referring to U.S.-aligned Arab states such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, or Jordan—all of which have maintained varying degrees of coordination with Washington on regional security issues. However, none of these countries have publicly indicated readiness to engage in direct combat operations against Hamas.
