Manghopir Town Sees Major Development with Completion of Road Carpeting Project

Manghopir, October 1, 2025: The Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir has successfully completed a major road carpeting project from Kareemi Chowrangi to Shaheed Bhutto Chowk, marking a significant milestone in the town’s ongoing development initiatives. This accomplishment comes as a result of the dedicated supervision and tireless efforts of Chairman Manghopir Town, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi.

The road, which had long been a concern for local residents and businesses, was previously in deteriorated condition, causing severe traffic congestion and affecting access to schools, offices, and commercial areas. Its renovation has brought much-needed relief, ensuring smoother traffic flow, safer travel, and a more convenient daily commute for the citizens.

Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi personally oversaw the project on-site, accompanied by municipal officers and responsible officials. During the visit, he emphasized that quality will not be compromised in any development work and that all projects must meet international standards. He stated:

“These projects are being executed with taxpayers’ money, and it is our duty to ensure that every single rupee is spent with transparency and honesty for the welfare of the people. Our foremost priority is to provide relief to citizens so they may live a safe, comfortable, and improved life. This project is not merely the construction of a road but the beginning of a major transformation, as it will boost commercial activities, improve traffic flow, and enhance the beauty of the area.”

Looking ahead, Chairman Brohi announced that further development initiatives will be undertaken in Manghopir Town, including:

  • Construction and renovation of additional major roads
  • Improvements to the sewerage system
  • Installation of streetlights
  • Beautification of parks and public spaces

These measures aim to provide citizens with modern, high-quality infrastructure and elevate the overall standard of living in the town.

Local residents expressed their gratitude and joy at the completion of the project, highlighting that their long-standing grievances have been addressed. Citizens also praised the Chairman for personally supervising projects on-site and engaging directly with the community, showcasing a model of transparent and responsive public leadership.

The completion of this project reflects Manghopir Town’s commitment to progress, civic welfare, and sustainable development, signaling a brighter, more accessible, and prosperous future for its residents.
