Iran stunned the world by launching successful strikes on multiple Israeli locations during the night between June 13 and 14, in response to Israeli aggression. These attacks by Iran breached Israel’s most advanced multi-layered defense systems, surprising global observers. Following the incident, the failure of Israel’s defense system became a hot topic of international discussion.

Despite Israel deploying cutting-edge defense systems such as the Iron Dome and others in major areas including Tel Aviv, Iranian missiles managed to penetrate and overcome these defenses. According to The New York Times, Israel has spent billions of dollars over the past year testing and developing its air defense systems. However, these systems failed as Iranian missiles broke through and reached Tel Aviv.

In response, Israel’s Defense Minister warned that if Iran continues its missile attacks, Tehran will be engulfed in flames. He accused the Iranian regime of holding its people hostage.

According to the BBC, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has opened a new front in the conflict. He announced that the operation will continue for as long as necessary. He made it clear that the goal is not only to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities but also to topple the Islamic government of Iran.
