On the instructions of SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan, a special training session was held for the second consecutive day for the security of Muharram, volunteers, and scouts.
In this training session, volunteers and scouts were briefed by Sukkur DIB In-charge Saeed Ahmed Qazi and officers of the Special Branch about the security arrangements for Muharram processions and gatherings in accordance with the prevailing situation.
Scouts and volunteers were also trained on how to conduct body searches and keep a close watch on suspicious individuals in the surrounding areas.
The volunteers and scouts assigned to Muharram processions and gatherings were given detailed briefings on identifying suicide bombers, hand grenades, and bombs.
SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan stated that the purpose of the training session is to ensure the best possible arrangements for Muharram processions and gatherings.
