In the U.S. state of Texas, the death toll has reached 104 due to severe storms and flooding-related incidents.

According to media reports, torrential rains and flooding have severely disrupted daily life in Texas. Kerr County has been the hardest hit, with 84 bodies recovered from the area.

The summer camp administration has confirmed the deaths of 27 missing girls and counselors, while over 10 girls and one staff member are still unaccounted for. Helicopters, boats, and drones are being used in the search operations for dozens of missing persons.

In addition, a search operation is ongoing along the banks of the Guadalupe River, where rescue workers say the water level rose by several feet within hours due to weather pressure and continuous rainfall.

Meanwhile, forecasts of further rain have raised alarms for other regions. In response, the Governor of Texas has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas.
