Gaza: The Israeli military has continued its brutal campaign in Gaza, where fresh assaults on Friday claimed the lives of at least 67 Palestinians, including 6 civilians who were desperately searching for aid, according to international media reports.

Medical workers told Al Jazeera that three aid seekers were shot dead by Israeli soldiers in central Gaza, further highlighting the dangers faced by starving Palestinians even while waiting for relief supplies.

In addition, Israeli airstrikes targeted the western part of Khan Younis, killing at least 5 people and leaving dozens injured.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian catastrophe continues to deepen as the death toll from hunger in Gaza has now reached 322, reflecting the severe blockade and scarcity of essential food and medicine.

On the other hand, the Israeli army claimed that it has retrieved the bodies of hostages from Gaza, including a victim identified as Ilan Weiss. Personal belongings of another hostage were also recovered, though further details remain unclear.

According to Palestinian officials, in nearly two years of relentless war, more than 62,600 Palestinians have been martyred by Israeli forces — the majority of them women and children.
