Train Fares Increased Following Rise in Fuel Prices

Following the recent hike in petroleum product prices, Pakistan Railways has announced an increase in fares for both passenger and freight trains.
According to the official notification issued by Pakistan Railways, the fares for passenger trains have been increased by 3%, while freight train fares have gone up by 4%.
The revised fares for passenger trains will be effective from June 20, whereas the increase for freight trains will come into effect from June 23.
