Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has hit back at social media users who criticized Mariam Nawaz’s outfit during her son Junaid Safdar’s wedding.

The wedding celebrations, including the Mehndi, Nikah, and Walima, were widely shared on social media. While many praised Mariam Nawaz’s attire, some users made negative comments about her appearance and style.

In a video statement released on the official Instagram page of the Punjab government, Azma Bukhari addressed the critics directly. She said, “There is nonsense being spread that Mariam Nawaz did not prepare enough for the wedding spotlight. The truth is, even on regular days when she comes to the office, she is always in the limelight.”

She added, “The real problem is your envy that she looks so good. God made her beautiful, what can we do?”

Azma Bukhari’s remarks emphasize that Mariam Nawaz’s appearance should not be a topic of criticism, highlighting the ongoing scrutiny public figures face on social media.
