In Naushahro Feroze, a case has been registered at the local police station based on the complaint of “transgender”
, Sohail Shah, also known as Suhana Faqir, who was subjected to brutal torture.
The case has been filed against 12 identified and 5 unidentified accused. Among the identified suspects are Lilan, Afzal Ali Nawaz alias Shazia, Anita, Chahat, and others.
According to the case statement, some time ago, a Khadro (follower of a Sufi order), Kiran Faqir, went missing from Kandiaro and the blame was put on them (the complainant’s group). Afterwards, Lilan Baledi Faqir and others called for a decision to be made at Peer Mohalla, Naushahro Feroze, where they plotted against the complainant.
He was allegedly locked in a room and brutally tortured. During this assault, his private part was mutilated.
Despite the registration of the case, no arrests have been made so far.
