PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed is likely to be replaced, according to government sources.

Official sources said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has forwarded three names to the federal government for consideration for the position of the provincial police chief.

The development comes amid discussions over a possible change in the leadership of the KP Police. According to the sources, the provincial government has proposed three candidates to the federal authorities, who will now consider the names before making a final decision.
