A spell of heavy and stormy rains has gripped various parts of Pakistan, leading to flood-like conditions in several مناطق and causing widespread disruption. The ongoing weather system has affected major cities as well as northern and mountainous regions, bringing with it strong बारिश, hailstorms, and even snowfall in higher altitudes.

In the federal capital Islamabad, heavy rain accompanied by hailstones significantly dropped temperatures, making the weather unusually cold for this time. Similar conditions were reported in major cities across پنجاب, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Murree, Sargodha, Gujrat, Sialkot, and Gujranwala, where intense rainfall caused urban flooding in low-lying areas and disrupted daily routines.

One of the most severe situations has emerged in Mianwali, where flooding has been reported at Kundal Chhara Wala due to a surge in the Kurram River. The rising water levels have led to a flood-like scenario, with water entering residential areas and forcing residents to seek safer ground. Local authorities are monitoring the situation closely, but concerns remain over further escalation if rains continue.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, widespread rainfall has also been recorded in multiple districts. In Parachinar, a road connected to a bridge over the Kurram River was washed away due to strong المياه flow, disrupting transportation and isolating nearby communities. Additionally, tragic incidents have been reported, including the deaths of two individuals caused by a house roof collapse and lightning strikes.

Another حادثہ occurred in the Khyber district, where a vehicle was swept away by a flash flood on the Pak-Afghan highway, resulting in the deaths of three people. Rescue operations in such علاقوں are often challenging due to rough terrain and continuous bad weather.

In بلوچستان, rainfall in northern districts and light snowfall in upper areas have intensified the cold weather. Reports indicate that at least five people have lost their lives in various weather-related incidents, highlighting the severity of the situation across the province.

Karachi, which has so far remained relatively less affected, is also expected to receive rainfall again as clouds gather over the city. Meteorological forecasts suggest that changing weather patterns could bring showers to سندھ’s capital in the coming days.

Azad Kashmir is also witnessing continuous rainfall, adding to concerns about landslides and flooding in hilly areas. Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious, particularly in vulnerable مناطق.

According to weather forecasts, a new spell of बारिश is expected to begin in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from April 6 to April 9. This raises concerns about further flooding, landslides, and infrastructure damage, especially in already affected regions.
