Gold Prices Fall Again in Pakistan as Per Tola Rate Drops by Rs2,400
Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs2,400, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA).
The association reported that the price of one tola of gold has decreased to Rs437,436 after the latest reduction.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs2,058, bringing it down to Rs375,030.
The APGJA attributed the decline in domestic prices to a drop in international gold rates.
According to the association, the price of gold in the global market fell by 24 US dollars, with the international rate now standing at $4,150 per ounce.
Gold prices in Pakistan fluctuate regularly in line with movements in international bullion markets and changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate.
