In compliance with the directives of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Larkana Range, Mr. Nasser Aftab, comprehensive security orders have been issued to ensure the smooth and safe execution of the Anti-Polio Campaign across all five districts of Larkana Range from 13 to 19 October 2025.

According to the security plan released by the DIGP office, the campaign will be backed by a large-scale deployment of law enforcement personnel. The breakdown of the deployment is as follows:

• 4,497 Mobile Teams will be operating across the range, ensuring maximum coverage in both urban and rural areas.
• 226 Transit Teams will be stationed at key checkpoints and inter-district routes to administer drops to children on the move.
• A total of 5,900 police officers and personnel will perform their duties across all zones to provide foolproof security to the vaccination teams.

The DIGP emphasized that all Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) from the five districts will personally supervise and monitor the ongoing security arrangements during the campaign. To further enhance coordination, special control rooms have been established in each district and at the range headquarters to maintain real-time communication and address any emergency situations promptly.

DIGP Nasser Aftab reiterated that negligence or laxity of any kind will not be tolerated during this vital public health initiative. He directed all officers to remain alert and proactive throughout the campaign, ensuring the protection of polio workers and the safety of citizens.
