Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has once again vowed to push for an end to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, signaling renewed diplomatic efforts to achieve a peace agreement in one of the world’s most devastating conflicts.

In a telephonic interview with an American television channel, Trump said that the prospects of direct negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky remain uncertain. “At the moment, neither Putin nor Zelensky is ready to sit down together,” Trump acknowledged. “But we will make it happen.”
