According to an official communication issued by the Ministry of Interior, directives have been sent to the Islamabad Capital Territory administration, Punjab Home Department, Punjab Rangers, and the police departments of Lahore and Rawalpindi. The letter states that the Prime Minister, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Division, has approved granting the South African team the highest level of security, similar to what is extended to heads of state.
