Shahbaz Sharif and Erdogan in Contact, Attack on Iran Deemed a Violation of Regional Security
Islamabad (Reporter): Pakistan and Turkey have expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation in the region following Israel’s attack on Iran.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had a telephonic conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which both leaders expressed grave concern over the worsening regional situation.
The two leaders agreed that the Israeli military actions are a serious violation of Iran’s sovereignty and regional security. They stated that such actions are a blatant breach of the UN Charter and international law, and this aggression has become a threat not only to the region but to global peace as well.
