District Police Officer (DPO) Khyber, Rai Mazhar Iqbal, chaired an important meeting with station clerks and computer operators from across the district, during which he ordered the complete digitization of the Crime Record Office (CRO).

Addressing the participants, the DPO stated that FIR registration has already been computerized, and it is now time to digitize investigation records, supplementary reports, and all crime data to align the Khyber Police system with modern standards.

To achieve this goal, three-day special training sessions have been launched at Police Lines Jamrud, where computer operators are being given hands-on training to immediately start working on the new digital system.

DPO Rai Mazhar Iqbal emphasized that timely verification and prompt response to public complaints at police stations is a top priority. He warned that any unnecessary delays or negligence would result in strict action against the responsible personnel in accordance with the law.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to make the police system transparent, efficient, and citizen-friendly. All clerks and computer operators were instructed to enhance their professional capabilities and ensure the effective use of digital technology in their daily operations.
