Jacobabad (Report by: Abdul Nabi Magsi) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah arrived in Jacobabad, where he offered condolences to MNA Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani, Khalid Jakhrani, and Azad Jakhrani on the passing of their mother.

While speaking to journalists after the condolence meeting, the Chief Minister said that the current law and order situation is not as bad as it was from 2002 to 2007, when conditions were extremely poor. “We used to travel from Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to Sukkur in military convoys,” he added. During the caretaker government, law and order deteriorated in Sindh, but control has now been reestablished. He further stated that kidnapping incidents are also being brought under control. The Home Department, Sindh Police, and Rangers are working to ensure peace and stability in the province. “If we need help from others to restore peace, we will seek it. We will restore peace,” he affirmed. He also mentioned that conditions in Kashmore District are critical and that police operations are underway there.

Murad Ali Shah stated that terrorism persists in the country, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan experiencing the highest levels. He called Israel a terrorist state, saying that Israeli forces have committed atrocities in Gaza, resulting in thousands of Palestinian deaths. Referring to the Israeli attack on Iran, he said Pakistan stood firmly with Iran, emphasizing that war benefits no nation. He further said that when India attacked Pakistan, the Pakistan Army gave a strong and befitting response. India had also fired missiles at Jacobabad, which the Pakistan Army successfully destroyed. After the firm response by Pakistan’s military, India backed down and turned toward peace. He praised the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army for the nation.

The Chief Minister said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari played an important role both before and after the conflict. He visited the US and Europe as part of a delegation and achieved significant successes. The Sindh government has passed the 2025-2026 budget. The Pakistan Peoples Party is standing alongside the federal government on the federal budget, which will also be passed by a majority vote. On this occasion, Provincial Ministers Nasir Shah, Ali Hassan Zardari, Zulfiqar Shah, Mukesh Chawla, Saeed Ghani, MPA Haji Sher Muhammad Mughiri, and others were also present with him.
