Pakistan’s renowned climber Asad Ali Memon has achieved a historic milestone by successfully scaling the highest peaks on all seven continents, completing the prestigious “Seven Summits Challenge.” This extraordinary accomplishment places him among an elite group of global mountaineers who have reached the top of the world’s tallest mountains across every continent.

Asad Ali Memon, who hails from Sindh, Pakistan, completed the final leg of his Seven Summits journey by climbing Puncak Jaya (also known as Carstensz Pyramid) — the highest peak in Oceania — located in Indonesia. With this achievement, he has proudly raised Pakistan’s flag on all seven of the planet’s highest summits, a feat that highlights not only his endurance and courage but also Pakistan’s growing presence in the world of high-altitude mountaineering.

Memon began his remarkable journey in 2019, when he scaled Mount Elbrus in Europe, followed by Aconcagua in South America in 2020. Despite global travel disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he continued his pursuit of the Seven Summits with determination and focus.

In 2021, Asad Ali successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, and the following year, in 2022, he reached the summit of Denali, North America’s highest and one of the world’s most technically challenging peaks. The defining moment of his mountaineering career came in 2023, when he conquered Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet).
