Sukkur: A citizen has reportedly fallen seriously ill after allegedly consuming chicken and fast food from the well-known Khairo Qeema Wala/Khairo Fast Food restaurant located on Dhak Road, Sukkur.

According to citizen Rato Khan, he purchased and consumed chicken and fast food from the restaurant, following which his health suddenly deteriorated. His family stated that his condition became concerning and that he is currently receiving medical treatment.

Rato Khan alleged that foul-smelling chicken was being used at the restaurant and that customers were being served substandard food. He has called upon the relevant Food Authority and district administration to take immediate notice of the incident, inspect the food quality at the restaurant and determine whether health and food safety standards were violated.

The citizen also demanded that, if the allegations are found to be correct, legal action should be taken against those responsible.

Meanwhile, the restaurant management has not yet issued its position on the allegations. The actual cause of the citizen’s illness and the quality of the food can only be established through a proper medical and official investigation.
