Gambat (Thursday, July 17, 2025): A tragic accident occurred near Miskeenpur on the National Highway close to Gambat, where a passenger van traveling from Sukkur to Sehwan overturned. As a result, five people, including a woman, lost their lives while more than ten passengers were injured.

The van was en route to Sehwan from Sukkur when a tire burst near Miskeenpur, causing it to overturn. Police arrived at the scene after being informed and shifted the injured and deceased to GIMS Hospital. Among the deceased are Shama Begum, Shabbir Bhatti, Rashid Bhatti, and others. According to police, the accident was caused by overspeeding.

GIMS Director Dr. Raheem Bux Bhatti, when contacted, stated that the condition of some injured individuals is critical, and medical aid is being provided to all the victims.
