JrowarA massive protest rally was held in Yaro Lund to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and to condemn the reported police firing and shelling on workers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in Lahore. The demonstration drew hundreds of participants, including religious scholars, social activists, political figures, and local citizens, all raising their voices against injustice and oppression at home and abroad.

According to details, the rally was organized to denounce the ongoing brutal bombardment and human rights violations in Palestine and to protest the alleged violent actions by Punjab police against TLP workers during demonstrations in Lahore. The event was marked by passionate speeches, emotional slogans, and a strong show of unity for both the Palestinian cause and the right to peaceful protest in Pakistan.

The rally was led by Maulana Abdul Rahim Lund, Hafiz Abdul Majeed Soomro, Habib Ahmed Qadri, Maulana Abdul Aziz Lund, and Laluddin Lund, along with several other religious and community leaders. Participants included people from all walks of life — clerics, traders, teachers, students, and elders — who marched together through the main routes of the town.

Carrying Palestinian flags, TLP banners, and placards inscribed with slogans such as “Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah,” “Justice for Palestine,” and “Stop the Oppression,” the demonstrators expressed deep anger over what they called the silence of global powers in the face of Israeli aggression. Many participants were seen chanting slogans against the atrocities in Gaza and calling for an immediate end to the Israeli occupation and attacks on civilians.

The peaceful rally proceeded through designated streets and culminated at the Main Chowk, where leaders addressed the gathering. In their speeches, they declared that the suffering of the Palestinians is the collective pain of the entire Muslim Ummah. “The blood of our brothers and sisters in Palestine cannot go unnoticed. It is our religious and moral duty to stand with them,” said Maulana Abdul Rahim Lund.

Speakers also condemned the use of force by Punjab police against TLP protesters in Lahore, calling it an attack on democratic rights and freedom of expression. They demanded an impartial investigation into the incident and urged the federal and provincial governments to respect citizens’ right to protest peacefully.

Addressing the crowd, the leaders stressed the importance of unity among Muslims worldwide. They said that injustices—whether in Palestine or Pakistan—must be resisted through collective action, faith, and perseverance. They also urged the Pakistani government to adopt a stronger diplomatic stance in support of Palestine and to condemn Israeli aggression on international platforms.

The rally concluded with prayers for peace in Palestine and for those injured in the Lahore incidents. Organizers reiterated that their movement would continue peacefully until justice prevails for the oppressed, both at home and abroad.

The demonstration in Yaro Lund reflected the growing public sentiment across Pakistan, where thousands continue to voice support for the Palestinian cause and demand an end to all forms of state violence and oppression.
