Kapil Sharma earns ₹5 crore per episode — his mind-blowing income from 3 seasons of The Great Indian Kapil Show has been revealed.

Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show began airing on June 21. India’s most popular and one of the highest-paid hosts, Kapil Sharma, is once again in the spotlight with his return to the third season of the show. One of the reasons behind the show’s massive popularity is Kapil Sharma’s staggering per-episode fee of ₹5 crore.

Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered last month on June 21. This season marks the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu to the show, alongside Archana Puran Singh.

According to Indian media reports, Kapil Sharma is being paid ₹5 crore per episode. Interestingly, he is receiving the same fee in Season 3 as he did in Season 1. For the 13 episodes of Season 1, Kapil Sharma reportedly received a total of around ₹65 crore.

As per Indian media, Kapil Sharma also earned ₹65 crore during Season 2, and there has been no change in his fee for Season 3. If the show continues at the same pace, Kapil’s total earnings from all three seasons could reach ₹195 crore.

It is worth noting that Kapil Sharma started his showbiz journey in 2013 with Comedy Nights with Kapil. From 2016 to 2023, he continued to capture public attention with The Kapil Sharma Show. The third season of the show has been airing since June 2025.
