Light Rain Begins in Karachi Early Morning, Weather Turns Pleasant
Karachi (Tuesday, July 1, 2025): Light rain started in various parts of Karachi early this morning, making the city’s weather pleasant.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain cloudy over the next 24 hours. There is also a possibility of light rain in some parts of the city today.
The Met Office stated that the maximum temperature in the city is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C today, while the minimum temperature recorded was 29°C. The humidity level is at 82%, and sea breezes are blowing across the city.
According to the Met Office, another monsoon system could affect Sindh from July 5.
Meanwhile, it rained with thunder in Islamabad and Rawalpindi last night.
Managing Director of WASA, Muhammad Saleem Ashraf, stated that WASA Rawalpindi is on high alert. A rain emergency has been declared, and staff are present in the field with heavy machinery.
Due to the rain in Islamabad, flight operations were affected, with delays in the arrival and departure of 5 flights at Islamabad Airport.
