A report submitted to the Supreme Court regarding the facilities available to PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail states that his right eye vision has deteriorated by approximately 85 percent, leaving him with only 15 percent eyesight in that eye.

According to the report, Imran Khan revealed that until about three to four months ago, around October 2025, his eyesight in both eyes was normal at 6×6. However, he later began experiencing persistent blurriness and gradual dimness of vision. He claimed that he repeatedly informed the then Superintendent of Adiala Jail about his worsening eye condition, but no effective action was taken to address his complaints.

The report states that his condition eventually worsened to the point where the vision in his right eye suddenly stopped completely. Following this development, Dr. Muhammad Arif, an ophthalmologist from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), was called to examine him. Imran Khan stated that doctors diagnosed a blood clot in his eye, which caused significant damage. Despite receiving treatment, including an injection, his right eye vision could only be restored to 15 percent.

Imran Khan has requested that his personal physicians, Dr. Faisal Sultan and Dr. Asim Yousaf, be allowed to examine him. He also stated that he is willing to be evaluated by any qualified eye specialist. Additionally, he asked that books be provided to him due to limited access to television and conditions of solitary confinement.

The Supreme Court has directed that Imran Khan be given access to specialist eye doctors and be provided with telephone facilities to contact his sons.

Regarding security arrangements, the report notes that Imran Khan expressed no concerns about his personal safety. Approximately ten CCTV cameras are installed in the compound where he is housed. While one camera partially covers the bathroom area, there is no camera installed inside his cell.

Details of his daily routine were also included in the report. He reportedly has breakfast at around 9:45 a.m., consisting of a cup of coffee, porridge, and a few dates. From about 11:30 a.m., he recites the Holy Quran for nearly an hour. He then performs physical exercise using limited equipment available in the facility. After bathing at approximately 1:15 p.m., he is allowed access to a walking shed within the secure compound, where he may either sit or walk. Lunch is served between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The report states that from around 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. the following morning, he remains confined to his cell. His cell block is located about a five-minute walk within Adiala Jail.

The report also details the living conditions inside his cell. It contains three high-voltage bulbs, a ceiling fan, and a blower heater. Furnishings include two tables, a wall clock, a bed with a single mattress, four pillows, two blankets, a chair described as uncomfortable, and a small rack. A 32-inch television is mounted on the wall but was found to be non-functional. There is no cupboard; clothes are hung on five hangers. Approximately 100 books were placed on a table, along with two apples and two dumbbells. Personal care items such as tissue paper, mouthwash, air freshener, shaving gel, and a shaving kit were also present.

The attached toilet measures approximately 4.5 by 4.5 feet and is separated by a four-foot wall without a roof. Hot and cold water, a wash basin, and a mirror are available outside the toilet area.

The report further notes that the cost of his lunch is borne by his family. Meals are planned weekly and include chicken, meat, lentils, or snacks on different days. He reportedly does not consume full meals regularly, preferring fruits, milk, and dates, and has access to bottled drinking water.
