7-Time Champion Djokovic Out of Wimbledon Tennis Tournament
London: Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic has been eliminated from the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.
On Friday, during the ongoing Wimbledon tournament in London, world number one Jannik Sinner defeated Serbia’s Novak Djokovic in straight sets in the semifinal to secure a place in the final.
Italy’s Jannik Sinner defeated seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic in the second semifinal in straight sets with scores of 3-6, 3-6, 4-6, knocking him out of the tournament.
This is the first time that Jannik Sinner has reached the final of the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.
Earlier, in the first semifinal of Wimbledon 2025, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz from Spain defeated America’s Taylor Fritz to reach the final.
The Wimbledon Tennis Tournament final will be played on Sunday between Italy’s Jannik Sinner and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz.
