Shikarpur: Grand Rally Held on Youm-e-Tashakkur to Express National Solidarity

Shikarpur, Aashan Ashfaque— In line with the directives of the Government of Sindh, a large and enthusiastic rally was organized in District Shikarpur on the occasion of Youm-e-Tashakkur, similar to other parts of the country.

According to details, the rally was initiated by the district administration from the District Council Office Shikarpur. It passed through various major roads of the city and concluded at its designated location. Participants of the rally expressed strong sentiments of patriotism and loyalty towards Pakistan with great enthusiasm.

The participants carried national flags and placards and banners inscribed with slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad”, “Pakistan Army Zindabad”, “Youm-e-Tashakkur”, and “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos”. They raised slogans in support of the Pakistan Armed Forces and demonstrated complete solidarity with them.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Shakeel Ahmed Abro addressed the participants and paid tribute to the courage, professionalism, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He stated that acknowledging the services of the armed forces is a national responsibility of every citizen. He added that Youm-e-Tashakkur aims to promote national unity, patriotism, and the spirit of Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.

The Deputy Commissioner further said that the Pakistan Army is fully capable of defending the country on all fronts and has the strength to respond effectively to any aggression. He expressed pride in the armed forces of Pakistan.

He also highlighted that the armed forces have always sacrificed their lives for the defense of the homeland. He said Pakistan is a peace-loving country that prioritizes peace, stability, and development, and every citizen should take pride in the country.

A large number of participants attended the rally, including District Chairman Syed Zulfikar Khan Kumario, EDC-II, Assistant Commissioners from all four tehsils of the district, representatives of NGOs, officials from the Social Welfare Department, police officers, prominent citizens, officers from federal and provincial departments, members of civil society, employees of local government, teachers and students from the education department, and journalists.

The event concluded with special prayers for the security, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.
