SUKKUR (Bureau Report): Dr. Farukh Imtiaz Bhambhro, Director Health Sukkur Division, visited various MMP sites on the second day of the Polio Booster Dose Campaign, including UC Ali Wahan Military Mohalla, Rohri Main Road MMP site, and the site established near Mal Pari.

DHO Sukkur Dr. Ali Gul Shah also accompanied him during the visits. The Director Health reviewed the performance of different polio teams and checked team lists, registration of children, and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

He appreciated the hard work, dedication, and responsible performance of the teams working in the field. Dr. Farukh Imtiaz Bhambhro directed the teams to effectively educate parents and the community about polio prevention, the importance of booster doses, and the need to protect children from the disease.

He said that the eradication of polio and the goal of a polio-free Pakistan are a shared responsibility, for which it is essential to ensure access to polio vaccination for every eligible child.

The Director Health Sukkur Division also appreciated and encouraged the teams participating in the polio campaign for their dedication and excellent performance, stressing the need to continue joint efforts for the complete eradication of polio.
