Petrol price goes up, diesel rate reduced for next rates announcement
The federal government has increased the price of petrol by Rs4.45 per litre while reducing the price of high-speed diesel by Rs2 per litre till tomorrow.
According to the new petroleum prices, petrol will now be available at Rs333 per litre, while high-speed diesel has been revised to Rs383.86 per litre.
The new prices will take effect tonight and remain in effect until tomorrow.
The adjustment in petroleum prices comes after changes in global oil prices and the exchange rate, according to sources.
Petrol is mainly used in private vehicles, motorcycles and transport, while high-speed diesel is widely used in agriculture, heavy transport and industrial sectors.
