RAWALPINDI: In a significant counter-terrorism campaign across various regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani security forces have neutralized 34 militants in multiple intelligence-based operations conducted between October 13 and 15.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan military, the security forces carried out precise operations in different areas of the province, resulting in intense firefights that led to the elimination of the terrorists.

The ISPR statement identified the eliminated militants as being sponsored by India, highlighting the ongoing concerns about cross-border terrorism and foreign support for militant activities in the region. These operations represent Pakistan’s continued efforts to combat terrorism and maintain security within its borders.

During the operations, security forces engaged the militants in several separate encounters across various locations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The successful missions have significantly disrupted terrorist networks operating in the region and prevented potential attacks on civilian and military targets.

The military’s media wing emphasized that these operations are part of Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country. The security forces have been conducting regular intelligence-based operations to eliminate terrorist hideouts and disrupt their operational capabilities.

Local authorities have launched subsequent search and clearance operations in the affected areas to ensure no remaining terrorist elements pose a threat to regional security. The security forces have also recovered significant quantities of weapons and ammunition from the eliminated terrorists.
