The federal government has appointed Muhammad Ali Malik as Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for a five-year term.

According to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the appointment was made after approval by the federal cabinet.

The notification stated that Muhammad Ali Malik will serve as Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan for a period of five years.

The appointment is part of the federal government’s efforts to strengthen the leadership and institutional framework of the country’s central bank.
