SUKKUR: Madam Hameeda Jatoi, the newly appointed Director of Primary Education for Private Schools, Sukkur, officially assumed her responsibilities. In her honor, a graceful welcome dinner and farewell ceremony for the outgoing director, Madam Rukhsana Shaheen Mangnejo, were organized at Rising Kids School. The event was hosted by Mr. Jameel Ahmed Shaikh, President of the All Private Schools Association Sindh, Sukkur Region.The well coordinated ceremony saw participation from office-bearers across various cities, including Sukkur, Pano Akil, Rohri, Daharki, Mirpur, Ghotki, and Khairpur.During her address, Director Madam Hameeda Jatoi issued clear directives to private school owners, emphasizing that each classroom should accommodate no more than 25 students. She stressed the importance of maintaining proper ventilation and temperature control to ensure a healthy and conducive learning environment. She also announced that she would personally inspect schools, and strict action including license cancellation would be taken against those found in violation of these standards.In her farewell remarks, former Director Madam Rukhsana Shaheen Mangi reflected on her tenure, stating that both government and private institutions operated under a robust system of checks and balances. She pointed out that the Sukkur region hosts over 2,000 private schools where student welfare remained a top priority. She urged continued efforts toward establishing modern educational spaces with spacious, well-lit class rooms to uphold the dignity of learning.Mr. Jameel Ahmed Shaikh reiterated that the All Primary Private Schools Association has never compromised on educational standards. He affirmed that today’s educated youth are the shining stars of the nation’s future, and providing them with a high-quality educational environment remains the Association’s core mission.The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all distinguished guests. Among those present were General Secretary Asif Nizam, Joint Secretary Ali Ghulam Mushtaq, Coordinator Irshad Qureshi, and other senior office-bearers of the Association.
