The birth anniversary of Hazrat Mola Imam Ali (AS) was celebrated with great devotion, enthusiasm, and spiritual fervor at Khanqah Ashiyana Qalandari, Bistan Kanri, organized by Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Qalandar Welfare Pakistan.

The event was marked by cake cutting and festivities led by the Anjuman’s leader Syed Ghulam Haider Shah Qalandari along with other Qalandari devotees, expressing joy over the sacred occasion.

In his address, Syed Ghulam Haider Shah Qalandari highlighted the importance of Hazrat Imam Ali (AS) as emphasized by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He said that according to the sayings of the Prophet (PBUH), Hazrat Ali (AS) is his brother in both this world and the hereafter (Jami’ Tirmidhi 3760, Fazail-e-Sahaba 1019, Al-Khasa’is al-Nisa’i 24). The Prophet (PBUH) further remarked that the relationship between him and Imam Ali (AS) is similar to that of Hazrat Musa (AS) and Hazrat Harun (AS), emphasizing the unmatched status of Imam Ali (AS) after the Prophet, noting that no other prophet will come after him.

He further explained the spiritual closeness between the Prophet (PBUH) and Hazrat Ali (AS), citing the saying: “I am close to Ali as two fingers are together; Ali is from me, and I am from Ali. Whoever I am master of, Ali is also their master.”

Syed Ghulam Haider Shah Qalandari also highlighted the exalted status of Imam Ali (AS) above even his sons, Hazrat Hasan (AS) and Hazrat Hussain (AS), noting that the Prophet (PBUH) stated they are leaders of Paradise, while the position of their father, Imam Ali (AS), is even higher.

During the event, Durood and Salam were recited, and special prayers were offered for the well-being, peace, and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan.

A large number of devotees, including Syed Abdul Rehman Shah Qalandari and other Qalandari friends, participated in the event, making it a memorable and spiritually uplifting occasion that reinforced love for the Prophet (PBUH) and respect for the teachings of Imam Ali (AS).

The gathering served as a reminder of the spiritual and moral values imparted by Imam Ali (AS), emphasizing devotion, brotherhood, and the pursuit of justice, inspiring all participants to strengthen their faith and commitment to serving the community.
