Attempted Assault Foiled in Jati, Fake Journalist Caught While Accomplice Escapes
Late at night in Jati town’s Ward No. 3, Samija Mohalla, a man under the influence forcefully entered the house of Wazir Ali Samijo and attempted to assault a woman. Her cries alerted the family members, who woke up and overpowered one of the intruders.
The arrested suspect was identified as Ashraf Mallah, a fake journalist, while the second suspect, Mehtab Shah, managed to escape. The captured intruder was severely beaten by locals and later handed over to the police.
The victim woman later approached the Jati Press Club and appealed to higher authorities for justice. She urged the SSP Sujawal to take immediate and fair action.
