MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has reportedly decided to develop a large residential project aimed at bringing members of his extended family together in a single housing complex.

According to Indian media reports, the actor is planning the redevelopment of two residential properties—Bella Vista and Marina Apartments—located near the upscale Pali Hill area in Mumbai. The redevelopment is expected to combine the properties into a luxurious sky villa designed to accommodate multiple members of the Khan family.

Reports suggest that Aamir, who already owns several apartments in Bella Vista, is planning to invest around ₹100 crore (approximately) in the ambitious project.

The proposed residence is expected to include spacious areas for family gatherings and celebrations, along with separate living spaces to meet the needs of different family members.

According to the reports, one floor of the new residence will be designed as an entertainment zone, while another floor has been earmarked for Aamir’s son, Junaid Khan. It is also reported that Aamir himself is expected to occupy two floors with his wife, Gauri Spratt, and her son.

The project is intended to provide independent apartments for other members of the family within the same residential complex. Media reports claim that residences are being planned for Aamir’s mother, Zeenat Hussain, his sisters Nikhat Khan and Farhat Khan Dutta, as well as his former wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad.

Until the redevelopment is completed, Aamir has reportedly shifted to a temporary apartment near Pali Hill.

The reports come shortly after Indian media claimed that Aamir Khan recently married Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony held at his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra neighborhood.

However, neither Aamir Khan nor his representatives have publicly confirmed the details of the proposed housing project, and the reported plans remain based on Indian media reports.
