Pakistan and Zimbabwe cricket boards are in talks to reschedule the upcoming white-ball series.

Sources indicate that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh are the main reasons for the proposed changes, as the original schedule for the Pakistan-Zimbabwe series cannot be maintained.

According to the Future Tours Programme (FTP), Zimbabwe’s tour of Pakistan was initially scheduled for April-May, but discussions are underway to find a suitable window later in the year. It is also possible that the series could be pushed to next year.

In April, the PSL will take place, followed by Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh in May, where the team is scheduled to play a 2-Test series. The Test series is expected to conclude by May 20. Additionally, Australia is scheduled to visit Pakistan later in May to play a 3-match ODI series, which further complicates scheduling.

The boards are working to adjust the calendar so that all series, including the Zimbabwe white-ball matches, can be accommodated without conflicts.
