Ranipur
The historic town of Ranipur witnessed a spiritually charged and festive atmosphere as the annual Urs of the revered saint Hazrat Pir Syed Ghulam Ghous Shah Jilani, widely known as Sain Bagan Shah Jilani (رحه), was commemorated with great reverence, devotion, and spiritual fervor at Dastgir House.

Thousands of devotees, followers, tribal leaders, pirs, mirs, sardars, and dignitaries not only from Ranipur but also from across Sindh and Balochistan gathered to participate in the sacred event.

Ceremonial Proceedings

The Urs was presided over by the Sajjada Nashin of Dastgir Dargah, Pir Syed Sooraj Dastgir Jilani, who led the proceedings with humility and grace. The event began with Quran recitation and Mahfil-e-Zikr, followed by soulful recitations of hamd, naat, and manqabat.

In an atmosphere filled with spirituality, Pir Syed Sooraj Dastgir Jilani prayed with deep humility, offering special supplications for the rehabilitation of flood-affected communities, the peace, prosperity, and stability of the country, and the well-being of humanity.

The Urs also drew the participation of Ranipur’s respected personalities, including Ustad Ghulam Asghar Jafri, Imdad Solangi, Zawar Ali Bakhsh Ansari, Mureed Abbas Solangi, Zawar Bahadur Khokhar, Town Officer Jahanzeb Babar Mangnejo, Mujahid Manghi, and others.

Representatives of civil society and media organizations, including Patron-in-Chief of Awami Press Club Ranipur Mian Fida Hussain Pirzada (also known as Ali Haider Bashaah), President Zigham Raza Mughal, General Secretary Sajid Ansari, Abdul Qayoom Ansari, Ayaz Ansari, Tasleem Dayo, Shahid Hussain Ansari, Imdad Ali Ansari, along with eminent members of the Sheikh community such as Azhar Ali Sheikh and Hamzal Ali Sheikh, also participated.
