The United States has indicated growing international readiness to participate in a multinational security mission aimed at stabilizing Gaza and supporting the emerging peace arrangement between Palestinians and Israel. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that several countries have already expressed willingness to contribute troops or logistical support to an international force designed to facilitate humanitarian aid and ensure implementation of the newly crafted Gaza peace plan.

Speaking to international media, Rubio emphasized that the success of the peace initiative heavily depends on cooperation from the global community. According to him, the formation of this multinational force would not only help maintain security on the ground but also build confidence among Palestinians and the broader region. He noted that the international community recognizes the urgent humanitarian and security challenges facing Gaza and therefore sees participation as a moral and strategic necessity.

Rubio, however, voiced serious concerns over the recent step taken by the Israeli parliament regarding the annexation of parts of the West Bank. He warned that such unilateral actions could undermine the delicate structure of the Gaza peace agreement. He termed the move a “dangerous development” that risks derailing the progress made so far. The U.S. has reportedly conveyed its concerns to Israel, stressing that annexation must not proceed at a time when diplomatic momentum is finally being achieved after years of conflict and instability.
