Iran Vows to Rebuild Nuclear Facilities “With Greater Strength,” Says President Pezeshkian

Tehran, November 2, 2025:
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran will rebuild its damaged nuclear facilities “with greater strength,” emphasizing that the country has no intention of developing nuclear weapons.

During a visit to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), President Pezeshkian met with senior officials from the country’s nuclear industry and reiterated Tehran’s commitment to peaceful nuclear advancement.

Speaking to state media, he said, “Destroying our buildings and factories will not stop us. We will rebuild them—this time, even stronger.”

The president stressed that Iran’s nuclear program is designed purely for civilian and humanitarian purposes, particularly for medical treatment and public health.

The statement comes months after the United States carried out airstrikes in June against what it claimed were Iranian nuclear sites linked to weaponization efforts. Iran, however, has consistently maintained that its nuclear activities are entirely peaceful and fall under international monitoring.

In response to Iran’s renewed commitment to reconstruction, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a warning, saying Washington would order new strikes if Tehran attempts to reactivate the facilities that were destroyed in June.
