Karachi (Monday, July 14, 2025): A new system of monsoon winds has entered Sindh, triggering light to heavy rainfall in various cities across the province.

In Thul and surrounding areas, the first monsoon showers brought relief from the intense heat, making the weather pleasant. After thunderous rain in Thul, Garhi Hussain, Mirpur, Mubakpur, and nearby regions, the temperature dropped significantly. However, rainfall also led to power outages in these areas.

In Jacobabad and its surrounding regions, strong winds accompanied by heavy rain made the weather enjoyable, breaking the heatwave. Power supply was disrupted due to the downpour, causing difficulties for both businesses and the general public.

Rainfall continues in Johi, Bhan Syedabad, and the hilly areas, as well as the western, northern, and eastern parts of Sindh, with gusty winds and thunder. Waterlogging has also been reported in some areas due to continuous rain.
