eachers and students of Ta’meer-e-Millat School in Sobhodero staged a protest after unknown thieves broke into the school and carried out a theft late last night. The incident has sparked serious concerns over the security of educational institutions in the area.

According to details, unidentified burglars entered the school premises during the night and stole valuable items, prompting the school administration, teachers, and students to come out onto the streets in protest. The demonstrators raised slogans against police inaction and demanded immediate steps to ensure the safety of the school.

Speaking to the media during the protest, teacher Iqbal Ahmed Channa stated that this was not the first incident of theft at Ta’meer-e-Millat School. He said that several similar incidents had occurred in the past, but regretted that the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sobhodero had failed to take effective action despite repeated complaints.

He further said that the school administration had informed the police multiple times, yet no concrete steps were taken against the culprits. “Due to continuous thefts and the lack of security, the educational activities of the school are being severely affected,” he added. He expressed deep concern that the learning environment for students was being disrupted because of repeated criminal incidents.

The protesting teachers and students demanded that the police immediately arrest those responsible for the thefts and ensure proper security arrangements for the school. They warned that if their demands were not met, the scope of the protest would be expanded in the coming days.

The protesters emphasized that protecting educational institutions is the responsibility of the police and that negligence in this regard is unacceptable. They called for regular patrolling and effective monitoring to prevent further incidents.

Following the incident, social circles in the city also expressed serious concern, warning that if security at educational institutions is not improved, such incidents could increase in the future. Community members stressed that schools should be safe spaces for learning and development, free from fear and criminal activity.

The incident has once again highlighted issues related to law enforcement performance and the lack of security measures in public educational institutions. Residents have urged higher authorities to take notice of the situation and ensure accountability so that schools can function in a secure and peaceful environment.
