The Federal Government of Pakistan has announced an increase in the price of kerosene oil by Rs 39.20 per liter, setting the new rate at Rs 358.01 per liter.

The government also decided to maintain the petroleum levy on petrol and diesel. The current levy rates will remain Rs 105.37 per liter for petrol and Rs 55.24 per liter for diesel.

Officials stated that the adjustment is part of regular pricing measures and follows fluctuations in global oil prices and domestic taxation policies. The notification regarding the revised kerosene price has been officially issued, and the new rates are now in effect.
