Commissioner Sukkur Division Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi Attends as Special Guest

Sukkur (May 28, 2025) A ceremony was held at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) Sukkur Campus to celebrate Youm-e-Takbeer, attended by Commissioner Sukkur Division Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi as the chief guest. Vice Chancellor DUET Sukkur Campus Dr. Samreen Hussain, DIG Police Sukkur Faisal Abdullah Chachar, university faculty, students, and parents were also present. Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner Sukkur Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi stated that May, 28 is not only Youm-e-Takbeer but also a day of gratitude, as Pakistan responded to a rival nation’s nuclear tests in 1998 by conducting successful nuclear tests in Chagi, delivering a resounding answer and humbling the enemy’s arrogance. He remarked that on May 28, Pakistan emerged as the world’s seventh and the Islamic world’s first nuclear power. Commissioner Abbasi emphasized that the people of Pakistan hold immense love for their country, and if ever faced with challenging times, the nation’s youth, elders, and children will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Pakistan Army in defense of the beloved country. He commended the performances of speeches and tableaus on patriotism presented by the Angles of Fairy Home and students of other schools and expressed his best wishes for the academic progress of DUET Sukkur Campus. Vice Chancellor DUET Sukkur Campus Prof. Dr. Samreen Hussain and DIG Sukkur Faisal Abdullah Chachar also shared their thoughts on the significance of Youm-e-Takbeer. The event included a cake-cutting ceremony, and commemorative shields were distributed among the guests.
