Measures by SEPCO to Ensure Uninterrupted Power Supply During Muharram

Chief Executive Officer of SEPCO, Engineer Ijaz Ahmed Channa, visited Rohri to review the arrangements for uninterrupted electricity supply during Muharram, especially on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashura, at mourning gatherings, Imambargahs, and procession routes.

He was accompanied by SE Ghotki Operations Circle Engineer Zahoor Ahmed Noonari and EXEN Rohri Operations Division Engineer Kashif Gulzar Shaikh.

The SEPCO CEO directed the officers that, keeping in view the significance of Muharram and the public’s religious sentiments, SEPCO staff must remain alert and vigilant at their respective headquarters, Imambargahs, and designated procession routes.

He emphasized that every possible effort should be made to ensure an uninterrupted power supply until Youm-e-Ashura, so that mourners do not face any difficulties at mosques, Imambargahs, processions, gatherings, homes, or Sabeels (refreshment stations).

The Chief Executive further stated that emergency repair and technical teams have been deployed to ensure uninterrupted power supply. These teams will remain ready to promptly address any possible faults or technical issues.

The public and religious communities have appreciated SEPCO’s efforts and expressed hope that the same spirit and sense of duty will continue in providing services until Youm-e-Ashura.
