MPA Adil Altaf Unar Extends Diwali Greetings to the Hindu Community — Calls Festival a Symbol of Light, Hope, and Unity

Parliamentary Secretary for the Department of Public Health Engineering and Rural Development, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Adil Altaf Unar, extended warm greetings to the Hindu community on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, wishing them peace, prosperity, and happiness.

In his message, Adil Altaf Unar said that Diwali is a festival symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. He emphasized that this festival of colors and lights not only holds deep religious significance for the Hindu community but also conveys a universal message of harmony, optimism, and renewal.

He expressed hope that the celebration of Diwali will bring joy, peace, and success to all who celebrate it, fostering a spirit of unity and brotherhood among people of all faiths. “The radiant lights of Diwali should remind us to dispel the darkness of ignorance and hatred, and to work together for a more peaceful and inclusive society,” he said.

Adil Altaf Unar acknowledged the Hindu community’s valuable role in Pakistan’s social and economic development, noting that their contributions in various sectors, including education, business, and public service, reflect their deep commitment to national progress. “The Hindu community has always been an integral part of our national fabric, and their efforts towards harmony and coexistence deserve the highest appreciation,” he remarked.

He reaffirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has always stood for equality, respect, and freedom for all communities, in line with its founding philosophy of democracy and inclusiveness. “The PPP’s vision guarantees equal rights and dignity for every citizen, regardless of religion, caste, or creed,” he added.
