Pakistani comedian Wali Sheikh has revealed that his car was stolen in broad daylight right outside his residence in Karachi. The incident, which occurred on September 30 between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM, has sparked concerns about rising street crime in the city and the lack of timely response from authorities.

The Incident

In a video statement shared on Facebook, Wali Sheikh recounted the shocking episode. He said his black and white car was parked outside his house in Moinabad Phase 3, Malir, when it was stolen. Despite promptly calling the police helpline 15, he claimed that no response came for several hours.

Frustrated by the lack of action, the comedian took matters into his own hands and went directly to the police station to register his complaint. According to him, the station staff provided a much better response compared to the emergency helpline.

An Emotional Plea

Wali Sheikh expressed deep disappointment and distress, emphasizing that he is not a wealthy celebrity but a working artist who had saved money for a long time to purchase his car.

“I am just a small artist. I collected money little by little to buy this car. I appeal to the Sindh government and law enforcement authorities to recover my vehicle and take strict action against these criminals,” he said in his message.

Appeal to Fans

The comedian also turned to his fanbase for support, urging them to share his video widely so that pressure can mount on relevant authorities to act swiftly. “Please share my video as much as you can so that my voice reaches those in power,” he requested.
