A grand oath-taking ceremony was held in Khairpur to formally induct the newly elected office bearers of the Paramedical Staff Union of Khairpur Medical College Teaching Civil Hospital for the 2025–2027 term. The ceremony, marked by unity and enthusiasm, took place at a private banquet hall and was attended by senior medical professionals, union leaders, and members of civil society.

The newly elected President, Abdul Qayoom Solangi, and General Secretary, Ali Hassan Katohar, along with all other elected officers, took their oaths from the Provincial Chairman of the Paramedical Staff, Abdul Rehman Shar, Senior Vice President Raja Rafiq Panhwar, and Deputy General Secretary Abdul Jabbar Narejo.

The event’s chief guests were Vice Principal of Khairpur Medical College Dr. Mukhtiar Lakho and Medical Superintendent (MS) of Civil Hospital Khairpur Dr. Masroor Zia Shah, who praised the dedication and professionalism of the paramedical community. They highlighted the essential role of paramedics as the backbone of the healthcare system, emphasizing that patient care and hospital operations depend heavily on their skill and commitment.

In their addresses, the newly elected leaders reaffirmed their pledge to work tirelessly for the welfare and rights of paramedical staff. President Abdul Qayoom Solangi vowed to raise issues such as timely promotions, service structure improvements, and fair allowances at both provincial and institutional levels. He said, “We will stand united to ensure that every paramedic is given respect, recognition, and the facilities they deserve for serving humanity.”

General Secretary Ali Hassan Katohar emphasized transparency and teamwork in all union affairs, promising to strengthen coordination between different hospital units and ensure smooth communication with administrative bodies.
