Tehran (Friday, June 27, 2025): Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that talks with Iran could take place next week.
In an interview with Iran’s state television, Araghchi clarified:
“No agreement has been made, no preparations are underway for negotiations, and no dialogue has taken place. This claim is completely baseless.”
He further stated that Iran is currently not participating in any new negotiation process, nor has any prior arrangement been made in this regard, and there are no behind-the-scenes talks either.
